The iSign movement is a non-profit association. The movement started in Sweden as an idea in the early 2000s. The idea slowly but surely began to grow and become a reality in 2020. The idea may seem naive and simple. But try to make a "simple" idea a reality. It's anything but simple. The task of the iSign movement is to continue to spread knowledge about its signs, to support civil courage and prevent the senseless violence. / iSign.community
iSign is meant as a complement to civil courage and common sense, to clarify and help.
This Christmas (2023) we organized a Christmas party for a sheltered accommodation in a town in Sweden called Eskilstuna. You live in sheltered accommodation because you are exposed to violence or threats, which is what we are working to reduce in the world. The party was very much appreciated and the families etc. who came got to take the food that was left home after the festivities with food and games with the children. We would like to thank everyone involved as well as ICA Maxi in Eskilstuna who donated a penny for food. Thanks!
In 2024, we collaborated with Mys Artisteri on the production "Babblarna on tour." We were able to borrow Babblarna and some musical artists (who volunteered their time for free). Together, we visited a hospital in Sweden (Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital) and entertained the children who wanted to meet Babblarna.
We're looking for ambassadors in any country. Interested? Send us an email.
